ABHIRUP TECH CAN PROVIDE INJECTION MOLDING SERVICES IN A WIDE RANGE OF MATERIALS

Injection molding materials can be categorized into two main groups: engineering plastics and high-performance plastics. Engineering plastics offer superior mechanical and engineering properties compared to most commodity plastics, making them widely used across various industries for a range of applications. On the other hand, high-performance plastics exhibit even greater temperature stability and enhanced mechanical properties, making them essential for specialized applications.

The selection of the material for injection molding depends on the specific application requirements. Injection molding finds applications in diverse industries, including automotive, medical, and aerospace, where the choice of material is tailored to the intended use of the product. Here are some commonly used materials in injection molding:

  • ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)

  • PC (Polycarbonate)

  • PP (Polypropylene)

  • PE (Polyethylene)

  • PA (Polyamide/Nylon)

  • POM (Polyoxymethylene)

  • PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone)

  • PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate)

  • PSU (Polysulfone)

  • PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide)

These materials offer a wide range of properties, such as strength, durability, heat resistance, chemical resistance, and electrical insulation, to meet the specific needs of different applications. The choice of material is crucial in achieving the desired performance and functionality of the injection-molded parts.

• Polypropylene (PP): Polypropylene offers excellent durability, fatigue resistance, and elasticity, making it well-suited for various applications, including automotive components and more.

• PMMA: PMMA, also known as acrylic, provides transparent aesthetics and superior strength compared to glass or other transparent materials. It is also resistant to UV rays, making it widely used in industries such as automotive, lighting, and more.

• Polyamide (PA): Polyamide, commonly known as nylon, offers a combination of flexibility, durability, and strength. It has a high melting point, allowing it to withstand prolonged exposure to high temperatures. Polyamide parts find applications in diverse industries, including medical and food & beverage.

• ABS: ABS is a versatile material that can be used independently or in combination with other materials like nylon or glass fiber. It is well-suited for the production of small and large household appliances, electrical products, and various rigid objects.

• LDPE: LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene) is utilized in applications that require low-temperature flexibility. Its seamless formability allows for the creation of a wide range of shapes. LDPE is commonly used in applications such as prosthetics, orthotics, and other low-temperature requirements.

• Polycarbonate (PC): Polycarbonate is a transparent material renowned for its impressive strength and impact resistance. It also has a high melting point, making it suitable for applications that involve exposure to high temperatures while maintaining good strength

ABHIRUP TECH HAS COMPLEX MOLDING & TOOLING CAPABILITIES

Abhirup Tech offers an extensive range of specialized tools and molding capabilities to manufacture complex products.

INSERT MOLDING Abhirup Tech excels in the production of injection molded components that incorporate metal parts like screws and bolts within the part itself. This eliminates the need for separate fasteners, enhancing both strength and assembly efficiency.

OVERMOLDING The overmolding technique involves molding plastic over an existing component. The initial component is molded inside an injection mold and then placed into a second mold to apply the over-molded material. This process enables the production of parts with intricate geometries.

2K MOLDING Abhirup Tech employs 2K injection molding for plastic parts that require two different colors or materials in a single component.

MULTI-CAVITY MOLDS (UP TO 128 CAVITIES) Abhirup Tech has the capability to utilize multi-cavity molds, enabling faster production speeds and reducing the number of required production shots.

THREE-PLATE CONSTRUCTION (STRIPPER OR RUNNERPLATE) Abhirup Tech employs three-plate construction molds, which eliminate the need for hot runner systems and significantly reduce cycle time. This construction type provides better control over the parting line and minimizes wear caused by repeated mold opening and closing.

TWO-PLATE CONSTRUCTION For simpler part designs, Abhirup Tech utilizes two-plate construction molds, which are suitable for straightforward designs that don't require the complexity of three-plate molds.

HOT RUNNER MOLDS Abhirup Tech utilizes hot runner molds to produce injection molded parts, eliminating the need for runners. This allows for efficient use of recycled plastics, matching the cycle time of virgin polymers.

In addition to the above capabilities, Abhirup Tech leverages collapsible core molds, angular side molds, multiple sliders, and hydraulic and delay ejectors to produce high-quality injection molded components.
